Quality Management Systems Project Coordinator

Location: San Diego, CA
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Work Arrangement: On-site — Remote work is not available
Pay Rate: $30.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are seeking a Quality Management Systems Project Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS).

This role will support organizational change management, system implementation, process documentation, user training, reporting, and project coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to translate technical information into clear, practical guidance for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of Organizational Change Management plans related to QMS.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of user interfaces aligned with business rules, operational requirements, and established workflows.
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to identify system requirements and process-improvement opportunities.
  • Develop user-friendly training materials, procedures, presentations, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate technical and process-related information clearly to a variety of audiences.
  • Coordinate meetings, training sessions, project activities, and follow-up actions.
  • Track project deliverables, open items, and system-related issues through resolution.
  • Support user testing, implementation activities, and post-launch follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure documentation remains complete and current.
  • Manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong planning, organizational, coordination, and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of SAP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Quality Management Systems or similar business-process systems.
  • Experience with organizational change management, system implementation, or user-interface development.
  • Experience developing and delivering training for field or operational personnel.
  • Knowledge of SAP utility material management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in utility, industrial, engineering, or technical-services environments.
