The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an effective, efficient, and proactive Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards to enable business success. He/She will ensure that policies and guidelines are followed by all the sites and departments within the Busch Group. He/she will also lead efforts, including aligning QMS and operating elements together to achieve strategy (i.e., process, people, and tools) in a practical manner, ensuring good communication with the Executive Leadership team, site management, third parties, and local authorities. This role also manages the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised against certification bodies during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Lead U.S. Quality Management Systems initiatives, strategic planning, and development and communicate to employees at all levels.
  • Ensure that established processes are applied and coordinate their efforts with the process owner teams.
  • Develop and drive local Quality Management Systems improvement programs.
  • Monitor and audit compliance to Quality management system requirements; recommend corrective action for instances of non-compliance; track timely & effective closure of action items.
  • Identify, manage, and ensure continuous improvements in the Quality management systems in compliance with business objectives, business excellence standards, and requirements of the external certification body.
  • Review and report to top management on the performance of the Quality Management Systems including areas of improvement (e.g., results of audits and status of corrective actions, etc.).
  • Manage QMS team, scope, budget, schedule, issues, risk, communication, and other elements as needed.
  • Oversee the development of Busch Group's Quality Manual and company integration.
  • Educate Leadership on standards, principles, and best practices of QMS; engage stakeholders to communicate QMS needs and coming changes.
  • Oversee gap analysis organization-wide and set evaluation cadence; conduct an inventory of all organizational programs, documents, processes, records, and templates.
  • Lead team members who work on the development and implementation of QMS by coaching, training, and monitoring Quality principles
  • Create Quality metrics to monitor and trend Quality throughout the organization.
  • Manage communications of deliverables to Senior Leadership and answer questions from leadership and other stakeholders
  • Manage information on Quality dashboards and SharePoint sites to ensure all metrics are current and relevant.
  • Implement, maintain, and perform internal QMS audits and provide feedback to Management regarding the performance of the Quality Management System in efforts to continual improvement.
  • Ensure employee training for QMS implementation and monitor employee and management conformance to QMS structure, document all activities as required.
  • Other tasks as needed.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school): Required. Field of Study: Safety, Quality, or closely related field: Preferred

Experience:

Five (5) years of professional experience working directly with a Quality Management System, safety, industrial engineering, or related fields: Required.

Prior knowledge in Quality and compliance and/or existing experiences in understanding quality management system (QMS) components are considered a big plus.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, similar software or equivalent with emphasis on spreadsheets, data analysis and metrics: Required. SAP experience preferred.

Certifications & Licenses:

ISO9001 and ISO14001 exposure, implementation: Preferred

ASQ certification as Quality Manager, Engineer or Six Sigma Certification: Preferred

Must maintain a valid driver's license through employment in compliance with Busch Insurance Standards.
