The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Quality assurance, quality control, quality management, audit, risk, or compliance within financial services or other highly regulated industries
  • Performing complex testing and validation of internal processes, preferably in areas such as:
    • Tax operations
    • Transaction banking
    • Commercial loan operations
    • Deposit Operations

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine evaluations of internal processes to ensure controls and procedures are operating effectively
  • Identify gaps, risks, and control weaknesses; document and communicate findings clearly
  • Apply data collection and analysis techniques to support quality assessments
  • Assist in developing and enhancing quality review frameworks and processes
  • Prepare and distribute daily quality, risk, and control reports
  • Support process improvement initiatives and product management efforts
  • Deliver quality metrics and reporting to stakeholders and business partners
  • Adhere to escalation protocols and reporting requirements
  • Respond to inquiries received through the quality assurance team mailbox
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including customer experience, innovation, and technology enhancements
  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed

Functional Skills

  • Knowledge of:
    • Quality review methodologies and processes
    • Metrics development and reporting
    • Quality performance indicators and measurements
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including:
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
    • Business Objects (or similar reporting tools)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required
  • Preferred: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field

Certifications

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., QA, Audit, Compliance, Risk) are a plus

The typical base pay range for this role is between $63K - $88K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
