Job Description

The Livonia Distribution Center, a 400,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7; is currently seeking a Quality Liaison to join our team. The essential function of this position is to communicate, update, and maintain information within the Procurement department and grower base. The Procurement Quality Liaison will work within the procurement group to clearly communicate information to our grower base and to maintain accurate databases of grower information.

Full Time Shift: Sun-Thurs 7am-4pm

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The Procurement Quality Liaison will develop a comprehensive understanding of the objectives, measurements, and key transaction types within the Procurement department.
  • Individual will be responsible for communicating issues to the growers and developing processes to minimize re-occurrence of issues.
  • Communications include but are not limited to non-compliant product reports, rejections reports, OS&D reports.
  • Ensure our processes and procedures are followed and communication of these reports is completed within 24 hours of receipt in NAV.
  • Data Entry for grower pricing in NAV, contract pricing in NAV, grower scorecard metrics, non-compliance tracking, rejections tracking, and OSDs tracking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Bilingual in use of English and Spanish language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Must be a self-starter and willing to work flexible hours
  • Highly proficient in computer-use skills (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Need to be creative, adaptable and able to accurately work with a sense of urgency

Work Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to work in our refrigerated warehouse, 50-degree controlled temperature zones
  • Stand and walk for the entire shift
  • Lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodations
