Role: Quality Lead Experience Required: 5+ Years Location: Hinjewadi Phase 1, Pune Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead with a strong background in establishing quality frameworks, conducting audits, and managing QA/QC activities for BIM (Building Information Modeling) projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in quality management within BIM-focused organizations, engineering consultancies, or construction technology environments. Key Responsibilities 1. Quality Management & Process Establishment Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) tailored for BIM projects. Create and standardize BIM execution workflows , templates, checklists, and guidelines. Establish process documentation aligned with ISO or internal organizational standards. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance BIM production efficiency and accuracy. 2. QA/QC for BIM Deliverables Perform QA (process compliance) and QC (model/drawing accuracy) reviews for BIM models across disciplines (Architecture, Structure, MEP, etc.). Validate adherence to BEP (BIM Execution Plan) , model standards, LOD requirements, naming conventions, and coordination workflows. Review clash reports, design coordination outputs, and federated models. Ensure deliverables meet project, client, and regulatory quality requirements. 3. Audits & Compliance Conduct internal quality audits across BIM teams and project phases. Perform compliance checks against ISO 9001, ISO 19650, or organizational BIM standards. Identify gaps, root causes, and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). Maintain quality logs, audit reports, and documentation. 4. Training & Team Support Train BIM teams on quality standards, best practices, and process updates. Provide coaching on tools like Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, and quality-checking plugins. Support teams in resolving quality issues and technical challenges. 5. Cross‑functional Collaboration Coordinate with BIM Managers, Project Managers, Discipline Leads, and external stakeholders. Ensure quality alignment across global/remote project teams. Participate in project kickoff meetings to set quality expectations. 6. Reporting & Analytics Develop dashboards and quality‑metrics reports for leadership. Track KPIs such as model errors, coordination issues, rework percentage, audit scores, etc. Recommend process optimizations based on data insights. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Experience 5+ years of experience in Quality Management for BIM projects. Proven background in setting up QMS for BIM environments. Hands-on experience in BIM software QA/QC (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC). Experience conducting audits and documenting compliance. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of BIM standards and frameworks (ISO 19650, PAS 1192, company‑specific standards). Expertise in Autodesk tools: Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, ReCap, etc. Familiarity with clash detection, model health check tools, and audit plugins. Understanding of LOD frameworks, naming conventions, and coordination workflows.
