Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee compressor performance testing in accordance with established standards, test procedures, and daily audit requirements.

  • Analyze test results to identify trends, process variation, and potential performance deviations, ensuring compliance with process capability targets (Cp/Cpk).

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports and presentations summarizing performance test results, key quality metrics, and compliance with testing schedules.

  • Participate in meetings with Corporate, customers, and cross-functional teams to discuss manufacturing, product performance, and quality-related topics.

  • Lead and implement corrective and preventive actions resulting from laboratory findings, performance testing, and audits related to Quality, Safety, Customer Requirements, and 5S.

  • Support internal, customer, corporate, and ISO 9001 audits by providing technical information and ensuring laboratory compliance.

  • Manage the Quality Laboratory inventory and ensure proper system transactions for material disposition and inventory control.

  • Coordinate with Production to obtain daily compressor samples based on production schedules for performance testing.

  • Manage spare parts, tooling, equipment, and measurement instruments required for Quality Laboratory operations.

  • Create purchase requisitions and follow the approval process to ensure timely availability of laboratory resources.

  • Record and maintain laboratory data in systems such as PPT, CATS, and Tableau.

  • Develop, maintain, and update laboratory documentation, including OMS Work Instructions, machine setup parameter sheets, visual aids, operating procedures, and standard forms.

  • Participate in Tier 2 production meetings to communicate laboratory performance test results, quality trends, and key findings.

  • Participate in Kaizen events and Continuous Improvement projects within the Quality Laboratory, Manufacturing, and Quality departments.

  • Apply structured problem-solving methodologies, including 5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D, A3, and Root Cause Analysis, to resolve quality and performance issues.

  • Coordinate and monitor teardown analyses, airboard evaluations, and bump-start investigations.

  • Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Prepare and maintain EHS Velocity deliverables, 5S documentation, and other compliance-related reports.

  • Coordinate technical training for laboratory personnel on testing equipment, laboratory machinery, teardown procedures, and compressor performance testing methods.

  • Coordinate and monitor preventive maintenance activities for Quality Laboratory and Teardown Laboratory equipment.

  • Track customer-returned finished products, coordinate their evaluation, and ensure proper material disposition according to established procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Laboratory, Manufacturing Quality, or Process Quality within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with compressor performance testing, dimensional analysis, and laboratory operations is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), statistical analysis, and process capability studies (Cp/Cpk).

  • Experience using problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, A3, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and Root Cause Analysis.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Tableau, Minitab (preferred), and other data analysis and reporting tools.

  • Experience handling customer complaints and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • English proficiency: 80–90% (Intermediate to Advanced)
