Quality Intern

Reports To: Quality Manager / Laboratory Leader

About the Role Do you want to come to work with a smile and leave with one as well? At Colgate-Palmolive, our dependable household brands and sustainability commitments make us a company passionate about building a future to smile about. As a Quality Intern, you will step into a hands-on, cross-functional role, gaining exposure across Analytical, Microbiology, Quality Systems, and Product Development. You will make impactful contributions to our daily lab operations and lead continuous improvement projects that ensure our products meet the highest global standards.

What You Will Do (Core Responsibilities)

Laboratory Operations & Quality Control

  • Involve yourself directly in the laboratory quality control system and support daily analytical lab operations.

  • Take charge of retain sample management to ensure traceability and compliance.

  • Assist the Quality and Product Development teams in executing and monitoring new product trial runs on the production floor.

Quality Improvement & Digitization Projects

  • Lead and support quality improvement initiatives focusing on Making and Finishing Compliance.

  • Drive lab digitization efforts to modernize how we track, analyze, and store quality data.

  • Execute data integrity activities and assist in upgrading our Documentation Management System.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

  • Availability: Able to commit to a full-time internship for a duration of 3 to 6 months (2 vacancies available).

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.

  • Microbiology Knowledge: A solid understanding of basic microbiological principles, lab techniques, and hygiene standards.

  • Academic Excellence: A strong academic track record with a CGPA of 3.2 and above from a reputable university.

  • Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask and collaborate effectively across different teams.

  • Tech-Savvy: Skilled in data analysis and presentation tools, specifically Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets), Microsoft Excel, and SPSS.
