About the department

Service Supply Chain and Repair is a unit covering all the service operations around the globe. We are responsible for supply to all the service sites, construction sites and after sales across all the regions. At Vestas, we focus on delivering top-tier supply chain and operations, which helps make our department a rewarding place to work.

The Global Warehouse department in Denmark and Germany, is responsible to procure, store, pick pack and ship on time towards our service technicians. Safety is our main driver; quality and delivery are our key measurables, making sure we meet the demands of our customers. You would join a global team that is always looking for ways to enhance its work.

We are searching for a Quality Inspector, working in close relationship with our 3rd Party Warehouse Operator to ensure high Quality Standards in the Inbound- as well Outbound process.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!

  • You perform quality inspections of incoming materials and outgoing products to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards
  • You identify, document, and reject non-conforming materials and products, preventing quality issues from impacting operations or customers
  • You verify product dimensions and functionality, comparing inspection results against defined requirements and specifications
  • You accurately record inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions in inspection reports and the Vestas Non-Conformity Registration system
  • You collaborate closely with Warehouse Inbound and Outbound teams, promoting quality awareness and supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain
  • You investigate quality deviations, support root cause analysis, and ensure quality-related issues are resolved promptly
  • You recognize risks and ways to improve in advance, promoting higher quality performance and operational Excellence

Your profile – what makes you well suited for this role

  • You have completed vocational training in a technical field and have at least 2 years of experience in an industrial or technical environment ideally in a warehouse setting
  • You possess solid technical abilities and are able to read and understand technical drawings with ease
  • You have a good understanding of quality control standards and inspection methods
  • You are proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP Warehouse Management and the wind industry is beneficial
  • You approach your work in a structured and organized way while managing priorities effectively
  • You work well with others and communicate clearly while solving problems effectively
  • You contribute a positive, practical approach and are committed to helping colleagues maintain a safe workplace
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile
