Quality Inspector, Level 3
Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, you will inspect products and perform quality audits, as well as initiate corrective actions for product deficiencies. You will provide work leadership and train lower level inspectors.

Key Accountabilities
·Test and sample raw materials and incoming products to ensure compliance with company standards
·Perform first off inspections, part layouts, receiving inspection, in process inspection, final audits, LPA, and gauge repeatability studies
·Responsible for approving products for distribution
·Initiate corrective action for procedural, product, or process deficiencies
·Analyze reports and returned products and recommend corrective action
·Assist in the general operation and the day-to-day demands of the Quality Department
·Schedule or assign inspection duties
·Issue Nonconforming Material Tags
·Train inspection personnel
·Operate CMM and have basic CMM programming skills
Minimum Requirements
·Completion of secondary school or equivalent
·Five years of related experience, preferably in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment
·Ability to perform PPAP layouts
·Must be capable of interpreting and writing CMM programs
·Knowledge of TS-16949 requirements
