Quality Inspector III is a highly skilled quality role responsible for verifying product conformity, supporting operational control, andmaintainingcompliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) within a manufacturing environment.

This position performs advanced inspections, ensuresaccurateand complete quality records, supports nonconformance management and corrective actions, and serves as a technical resource and mentor to inspection personnel. The role contributes directly to audit readiness, process effectiveness, and continual improvement.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced inspection and testing of raw materials,in‑processproducts, and finished goods to verify conformity to specifications, drawings, control plans, and standard work.

  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) requirements to ensureaccurateacceptance and rejection decisions.

  • Ensure inspection activities are performedin accordance withapproved procedures and documented instructions.

  • Support production flow whilemaintainingintegrity of quality acceptance criteria.

  • Identify, document, andcontainnonconforming materialin accordance withestablished procedures.

  • Initiate and document nonconformance records accurately and ensure proper disposition.

  • Support immediate containment actions and communicate quality risks toappropriate stakeholders

  • Record inspection results accurately, ensuring data integrity, traceability, and completeness.

  • Utilizeappropriate inspectionand measuring equipment and verify measurement accuracy asrequired

  • Support analysis of inspection data toidentifytrends, recurring issues, and improvementopportunity

  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities related to quality issues.

  • Provide technical input based on inspection findings and process observations.

  • Verify effectiveness of corrective actions throughfollowupinspection and validation activities as assigned.

  • Ensure inspection records and related quality documentation are completed,maintained, andretainedaccording to company and ISO requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing inspection records, objective evidence, and clear explanations of inspection practices.

  • Alwaysmaintaininspection documentation in anauditreadystate.

  • Perform inspection activities in a manner that supports environmental policies, procedures, and site controls.

  • Follow established environmental requirements related to material handling, waste identification, and spill prevention.

  • Identifyand communicate potential environmental risksobservedduring inspection or production activities.

  • Providetechnical guidance and mentoring to Quality Inspector I and II personnel.

  • Assistwith training and onboarding by reinforcing inspection methods, quality standards, and documented procedures.

  • Promote consistent application of inspection criteria and standard work across shifts.

  • Identifyopportunities to improve inspection methods, controls, or documentation processes.

  • Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives, Kaizen events, and improvement teams.

  • Reinforce a culture of quality, accountability, and environmental responsibility on the shop floor.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support quality system effectiveness and operational objectives.

RequiredQualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred

  • 6+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibility

  • Advanced capability interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T

  • Proficiencywith precision measuring and inspection equipment

  • Strong understanding of nonconformance control, inspection records, and audit expectations

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor or support other inspectors

  • Strong attention to detail,decisionmaking, and documentation discipline

  • Ability to reinforce compliance with quality and environmental requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 certified manufacturing environment

  • Experience supporting internal and external audits

  • Familiarity with SPC, data analysis, andproblemsolvingmethodologies

Working Conditions

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will performthe majority ofyour duties in an office environment.You may, at times,be requiredto be present on the manufacturing floor and will berequiredto wear theappropriate personalprotective equipment. You willbe requiredto work in the office at theFranklin, NHlocation (Monday – Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

  • Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
