Job Description

Analog Modules, Inc. is recruiting for a Quality Inspector II.

The Quality Inspector II's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.

  • Performs visual inspections of Printed Circuit Boards, PCB Assemblies, Sheet Metal, Wire, Optics, Electronic Components etc. to verify that products adhere to specified standards of workmanship.
  • Documents the results of inspections regarding the condition of the product as defined by established procedures.
  • Reviews test data to verify that products meet specified requirements.
  • Interprets drawings and schematic diagrams to perform inspections.
  • Identifies deviations and initiates reports.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to five years’ related experience and/or training.
  • Experience with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
  • Must pass certification for IPC-A-610 after hire (if not currently certified).
  • Must be familiar with workmanship standards IPC, MIL Specs, ISO 9001, etc.
  • Must have experience in quality and source inspection of electronic components.
  • Must be able to perform work with a microscope for several hours per day.
  • Experience interpreting engineering specifications (drawings, bills of material, deviations)
  • Experience with dimensional inspection tools (calipers, micrometer)
  • Experience with electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Computer literate with MS Excel experience
