The Quality Inspector – Architect is responsible for overseeing and inspecting architectural works to ensure full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. The role involves conducting site inspections, identifying non‑conformities, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and ensuring that all architectural elements are executed to the highest standards. The position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to enforce quality procedures within a PMC environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct inspections of architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor construction activities to verify adherence to project requirements, codes, and industry best practices.
• Identify, document, and report non‑conformities, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Review architectural shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical and quality‑related issues.
• Participate in site meetings, progress reviews, and quality coordination sessions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation in accordance with project procedures.
• Support the implementation of the project’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure that all architectural finishes, materials, and workmanship meet the required standards.
• Assist in final inspections, snagging, and project handover activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum 6 years of experience in architectural quality inspection within PMC and building construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of architectural construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
• Experience in reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Familiarity with international building codes and quality management systems.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection tasks.
• High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality compliance.
