Join our Scoresby team as a Quality Inspector, supporting the inspection of aftermarket parts before they are dispatched to branches across the network. You’ll play an important role in ensuring parts meet quality and specification requirements in a fast-paced environment. We’d like this to be a long-term opportunity for the right person, with plenty of training, resources and support to help you build your skills and grow with the team.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Inspect aftermarket parts, wiring and other products to confirm quality and specification requirements
  • Verify part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, traceability and documentation against requirements
  • Use measurement equipment such as vernier callipers, micrometers, gauges and multimeters to assess parts
  • Identify, segregate and document non-conforming products and maintain accurate inspection records
  • Complete visual, dimensional and workmanship inspections, including parts following rework or salvage
  • Maintain clear inspection evidence including measurements, photographs and results to support quality decisions

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • A University or Associate Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical Technology or a related discipline is preferred but not required
  • Experience in parts inspection, manufacturing, warehouse quality or a similar technical environment is advantageous
  • Experience using measurement and inspection equipment, such as vernier callipers and micrometers
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings and part information
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisation and record-keeping skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
