Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions, a Taylor company, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in Arden Hills, Minnesota.

This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must complete a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Shift: Monday through Friday, 10:00 pm to 2:00 am

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
  • Review and compare documentation, tickets, and validation paperwork against production standards.
  • Visually inspect printed materials for correct components, folding, sealing, color quality, IMB placement, and proper postage.
  • Identify and document any defects or discrepancies, escalating issues to the appropriate supervisor or account manager.
  • Verify re-serviced jobs, confirm counts, and ensure all materials are complete and properly processed.
  • Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality control documentation.
  • Support daily quality audits across production and product services areas.
  • Adhere to all FISMA security requirements when handling PCI and federal mail within the secure boundary.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

You Must Have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related production role.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct quality issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets, production documentation, and validation reports.
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach.

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including print materials.
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility.
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds, including lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Experience working in a secure or regulated environment, such as FISMA, PCI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with production, printing, or mail operations.
  • Solid organizational and multitasking skills.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17.00 to $18.00. The actual base rate offered depends on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, education level, certifications or licenses held, and the location from which the applicant will perform the job. The range listed is one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
