We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with minimal quality experience who is eager to learn, grow, and build a career in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Position Overview
The Quality Inspector supports the inspection and quality control of medical imaging components and finished products to ensure they meet Del Medical’s specifications and regulatory requirements. This role is well-suited for individuals who are hands-on, organized, and interested in learning FDA and ISO quality standards. Training and support will be provided.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect incoming materials, subassemblies, and finished products using visual checks and basic measurement tools
- Perform in-process and final inspections following written instructions, checklists, and drawings
- Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation
- Identify parts that do not meet requirements and notify the appropriate team members
- Assist with basic non-conformance documentation and corrective action support
- Verify inspection tools are properly calibrated before use
- Support quality audits by organizing and providing inspection records
- Follow Del Medical’s Quality Management System (QMS) and applicable FDA and ISO requirements
- Participate in continuous improvement and training initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- 0–1+ years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience (training provided)
- Basic understanding of measurements and willingness to learn inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, multimeters)
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and simple mechanical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing work right the first time
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude toward learning
