Join our Raymond Team as a Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift!

The Role:

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift who brings technical skills and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll perform quality inspections while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Perform testing of mechanical/electrical assemblies and measure dimensional characteristics per Raymond engineering and other documents.
  • Support quality systems, follow all quality documentation, performing inspections of completed trucks ensuring both internal and end user customer requirements are met.
  • Participate in problem solving.
  • Create records within a database.
  • Cross train in various CVI Quality areas.
  • Be familiar with ISO-9001 & Raymond Quality Systems: use of RWS, QAPs and APLs; Dept. Inspection Plans and Work Instructions.
  • Interface with multiple departments and other manufacturing divisions when resolving problems.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High School Diploma
  • This is an entry level position with no experience necessary.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products

  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Previous inspection experience
  • Strong communication skills – clear and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Acute attention to details
  • Ability to create records in a data base

Where and When You’ll Work:

  • This is an in-person role located at our Greene, NY location—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
  • This is a second shift position Monday – Friday from 2:00pm – 10:30pm; there may be overtime based on business needs.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Wage - $21.00 - $25.34 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • This is an entry-level position; no previous experience is required. However, one year or more of manufacturing experience is preferred.
