We are seeking a motivated Quality Inspector 1 to join our team and support daily operations while meeting customer and regulatory requirements.

Position Summary: The Quality Inspector 1 supports production by performing mechanical inspections, documentation and calibration activities within the Quality Department.
Education and Experience
- Able to read typical shop drawings and blueprints to identify key characteristics and features.
- Familiar with GD&T symbols, the concept of Metrology,
- Adequate mathematics skills for the application of basic geometry concepts.
- Able to work with measurements in both Metric and SAE/Imperial.
- Familiar with measuring tools such as Calipers, Micrometers, Pin Gauges and other typical inspection and measuring equipment.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products for use to create and document inspection reports.
Core Contributing Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities to the Organization
- Perform operational steps on routers involving inspection, verification, and documentation of conformance to dimensional requirements.
- Perform receiving inspection operations to verify conformity of raw and outside processed materials to the purchase order and/or customer requirements.
- Complete inspection documentation paperwork.
- Perform pre-shipment conformance documentation and provide shipping with required paperwork.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods of time using a computer.
- Walking
- Standing
- Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Visual acuity requirements attained either corrected or uncorrected.
