The role requires independent judgment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to guide teams toward increased maturity and delivery excellence in a large, matrixed enterprise environment.

This role is strictly involved in quality assurance and process improvement activities and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), or any secured or confidential client data. The work is limited to quality governance, process compliance, metrics analysis, and continuous improvement activities and does not include handling, reviewing, or processing sensitive health or personal information.

Your role in our mission

  • Conduct quality assessments and evaluations by analyzing objective and subjective evidence to verify compliance with approved quality plans, CMMI practices, and organizational standards.
  • Determine levels of process and product quality, identify risks or gaps, and recommend remediation actions.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret defect, process, and quality metrics, and present findings to appropriate management levels through verbal briefings and periodic written reports.
  • Escalate unresolved quality issues, compliance risks, or deviations to the appropriate governance or leadership forums.
  • Evaluate project and operational work products to assess quality and document findings and improvement recommendations.
  • Research alternative solutions to quality or process issues, recommend corrective actions, and support approved improvement implementations.
  • Monitor and track Causal Analysis and Resolution (CAR) action items to closure and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring in CMMI methodology and Gainwell quality practices to less experienced personnel.

What we're looking for

  • Strong experience working with quality metrics and software industry data collection and analysis techniques.
  • Current, hands on knowledge of CMMI for Development and Services.
  • Experience supporting or aligning with project management methodologies in enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a large, matrixed corporate environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Visio.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience conducting process audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action planning in CMMI aligned organizations.
  • Familiarity with Gainwell or similar enterprise quality governance models.
  • Experience supporting SDLC governance, delivery assurance, and operational quality programs.
