Job Family Definition:

Establishes and reports Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Performs quality analysis, inspects, root cause analysis.

Establishes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting based on the needs of business to support strategy and overall directional improvement. Understand and validate data integrity in data and reporting systems while supporting established quality standards, performing quality analyses, inspections and root cause analysis. Conduct programs to establish process requirements, design, mapping and evaluation. Review and monitor the effectiveness of various processes through the retrieval and analysis of data. Identifies and evaluates opportunities, risk, deficiencies while working with internal departments/business units to deliver the appropriate remedies and subsequently test, track and verify the solutions. Create and deliver relevant ongoing communications and metric scorecards to respective management, program teams and business teams.

Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

What you will do:

Responsibilities:

  • Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for the design and implementation of quality performance indicators, tools and processes for data collection, analysis and reporting across multiple platforms and organizations within the Business Unit.
  • Reviews and evaluates product and solution designs and production activities for potential quality issues; provides tangible feedback based on results and root- cause analysis and designs and implements solutions to improve product quality and minimize risk of failures.
  • Identifies and evaluates new technologies, process innovations, and outsourced partner relationships for alignment with strategy roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into design and production architecture.
  • Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence and guide decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced manufacturing and development partners, industry standards groups, and customers.
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of quality innovation and excellence.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management, Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Lean Six Sigma or other Quality certification preferred.
  • Typically 10+ years experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt preferred)
  • Experience designing and developing data collection and analysis tools and software packages to gather, integrate and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Excellent analytical, statistical and problem solving skills.
  • Extensive expertise in industry quality standards and methodologies.
  • Evaluating, selecting, and creating forms of empirical and root-cause analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate compliance with quality standards.
  • History of innovation with examples of developing new technologies and practices for quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate quality architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.
