We're Hiring: Quality & ESG Performance Officer

Veridos Matsoukis S.A., a leading Security Printing Company and proud member of the VERIDOS and G+D Group, is looking for a dynamic Quality & ESG Performance Officer to join our team.

This role is responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet defined quality standards, while monitoring supplier quality performance and the related processes. At the same time, the position connects corporate quality management with sustainability metrics, supporting the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives.

It offers the opportunity to work in an international and technologically advanced environment, contributing directly to the integrity and reliability of secure identity products used around the world.

Reporting to the QMS & Sustainability Manager, your Key Responsibilities tasks include but are not limited to the following:

Quality Assurance & Supplier Performance

• Collect and manage data for compliance complaints, including submission, monitoring, and resolution
• Identify root causes of supplier issues and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Coordinate internal cross-functional and supplier meetings (status & follow-up)
• Maintain tracking systems (electronic & physical) for supplier complaints
• Conduct annual supplier evaluations and initial qualification or re-qualification processes
• Gather and manage required supplier certifications/documentations

ESG & Compliance

• Ensure company’s compliance with quality standards, regulations, corporate guidelines and ESG requirements
• Monitor and ensure supplier adherence to ESG and quality expectations

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Develop, analyze, and communicate KPIs related to:
• Supplier Quality performance
• ESG metrics & Reporting
• Customer satisfaction

Projects & Collaboration

• Participate in or lead Quality and ESG-related projects
• Support customer complaint management:
• Participate in 8D problem-solving processes
• Assist in defining and implementing corrective actions
• Support the maintenance of the quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Support the Internal Auditing Process according to the quality management systems

Work Environment

• Office-based across company facilities in Athens
• Occasional travel to suppliers, customers, or partners may be required

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Sciences, Business, or relevant technical field)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality, engineering, operations, compliance
• Working experience on ESG/Sustainability field is considered a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Quality
• Fluent in both Greek and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good understanding of regulatory standards and quality management systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively
• Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Knowledge of ERP systems is considered a plus
