
Quality & Environmental Manager
Location: Macclesfield
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Working Pattern: On-site, Monday to Friday
Hours: 38.5 hours per week
The Opportunity
An established UK manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality & Environmental Manager to lead and develop its Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
This is a key position focused on compliance, continuous improvement, sustainability initiatives, and maintaining high operational standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the company’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
Maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.
Ensure compliance with relevant quality and environmental legislation.
Conduct internal and external audits.
Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead projects relating to waste reduction, recycling, sustainability, and carbon reduction.
Deliver quality and environmental training where required.
Provide reporting and updates to senior management.
Support customer compliance and information requests.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Auditing experience.
Understanding of sustainability and environmental improvement strategies.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Relevant Quality and/or Environmental qualifications would be advantageous.
