In this position...
Quality Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes are stable, capable, and consistently producing products that meet stringent quality standards. You will bridge the gap between design and production, focusing on defect prevention, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement.

What you'll do...

• Resolve the daily quality abnormalities of the production line in time
• Effectively implement the assigned QE tasks
• Responsible for monitoring quality activities such as SPC, FAI, MES inspection, FIFO, error prevention, rework and equipment qualify;
• Responsible for change management and effective implementation of process response plan;
• Be responsible for timely containment, analysis and solution of quality problems, and timely treatment of daily quality abnormalities.
• Promote quality improvement activities
• Support various process audits, such as process audits and LPA audits.
• Carry out quality risk identification and quality improvement activities;
• Guide and improve the quality and business ability of hourly QE technicians.

• Additional responsibilities depending on business needs.

  
  Candidates must possess full flexibility and a readiness to consistently work across all established standard, operating, and rotational shift schedules, encompassing day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  

You'll have...

• High School Diploma
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Proficient in using office software and strong data analysis ability.
• Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
• Familiar with Six Sigma methodology, indicating a strong capability in data analysis and process improvement.

Even better, you may have...

• Bachelor's in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Knowledge of cell manufacturing technology focused on mixing, gravure, coating.
• Knowledge of chemical or mechanical lab testing
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Familiar with ISO9000/IATF16949 quality system
• Familiar with quality analysis and improvement tools (FMEA, FTA, 8D, SPC)
• Ability to work flexible hours, support off shift hourly employees as needed.
• Ability to work overtime if required.

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
