Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead

Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality outcomes throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The lead actively monitors and manages the testing process by defining and implementing key performance metrics, ensuring effective test execution, and facilitating timely defect resolution. Collaboration across teams and continuous process improvement are central to the daily activities in this position.

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience in designing and executing load and stress tests to evaluate system behavior under various conditions.
• Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development and operations teams.
• Familiarity with integrating performance testing tools within continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying bottlenecks and optimizing system performance.

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner.
• This position is based at our BDC11 - SEZ location.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
