Quality Assurance Associate Engineer

  • The Quality Assurance Associate Engineer supports Power Generation Services by applying quality assurance and quality control principles to ensure products and services meet customer and corporate requirements.
  • This role assists in maintaining, supporting, and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Root Cause Analysis activities using 8D methodology, including documentation, containment actions, and tracking.
  • Assist with corrective and preventive action initiatives and their implementation.
  • Support the collection, analysis, and tracking of non-conformance data and maintain the NCR database.
  • Identify and interpret quality data trends using Statistical Process Control techniques.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining quality metrics and KPIs to drive improvement initiatives.
  • Support the development and delivery of quality-related training programs.
  • Review customer and supplier inspection and test plans.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of quality procedures and specifications supporting the Quality Management System.
  • Participate in safety initiatives, team objectives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Perform other duties as required to support departmental and company goals.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Quality Management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, word processing tools, electronic mail, and statistical or data analysis software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
