As a Quality Engineer focusing on manual testing, a typical day involves thoroughly validating software solutions by executing tests aligned with specified requirements and user stories. This role includes designing detailed test cases, meticulously identifying and documenting any discrepancies or defects, and working closely with various delivery teams. The objective is to ensure that the software is dependable and ready for end users, contributing to the overall quality and success of the product releases through continuous collaboration and attention to detail.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve testing processes and methodologies within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their testing skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Strong understanding of manual testing principles and practices.
- Experience in designing and executing detailed test cases based on user stories and requirements.
- Ability to identify, document, and track defects effectively.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools and working within cross-functional teams.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
