Company Background:

The company is a prominent provider of sensory experience solutions with expertise in various core technologies including semiconductor. The company is located in Senai, Johor. Notably, they are the sole micro-component manufacturing company from China ranked in the top 10 company in China.


Job Responsibilities:

• Lead weekly quality workshops, analyze production data, and manage First Pass Yield (FPY) for mass production.
• Conduct Level B layered audits, address critical quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and verify corrective actions.
• Develop, update, and manage quality control documentation; review and handle non-conforming or abnormal products.
• Carry out annual product audits, maintain key process capability controls, and analyze GP12 data to drive continuous improvement.
• Reduce internal defect rates, control process-related costs, and support the resolution of major customer complaints through effective corrective actions.
• Prepare audit documentation, provide layered audit training, promote safety awareness, and support certification of new employees.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in optical product quality and engineering, with solid knowledge of automotive quality systems (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3/6.5, BIQS) and AIAG tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
• Strong ability to identify risks, manage closed-loop quality processes, and enforce strict production process controls.
• Knowledge of acoustic product principles, process control, and reliability/failure analysis; proficient in QC Seven Tools, 5 Why, FTA-PDCA, 8D, and other quality methodologies.
• Experience in planning, executing, and monitoring quality meetings, managing defect costs, and conducting process audits, LPAs, and second- or third-party audits

Salary Range: RM6000 - RM7000
