Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Verification of project specification and work identify technical requirements
  • Preparation of project specific method statements, inspection and test plan
  • Coordinate with site execution and Ensure WIR, MIR are raised on time as well as the approvals are obtained.
  • Inspection of Incoming / delivered materials and ensure the materials are in compliance with the project specification / Material approvals.
  • Record the status of non-conformance and action details of assigned projects
  • Develop method statements , compliance report and ITPs
  • Regular visit to site work and ensure work is executed against specification and method statement
  • Conduct internal audit to meet QHSE requirements and prepare audit reports.
  • Issue non conformity report on various non conformities identified during audits for corrective action and follow up for its effective implementation.
  • Review customers complaints and ensure closure of complaints
  • Prepare QHSE observation report and record all the nonconformities identified/ resolved status area wise identified during site tour
  • Attend planning /coordination meetings to address the issues related to quality of product requirements
  • Participate in initial kick off meeting and prepare documentation accordingly
  • Consultation, participation and communication of requirements related to projects
  • Prepare and submit handing over documents

Must have skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years of exp as a QA/QC Engineering in an Interior Fit out company
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and compliance (e.g., ISO)
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, ID drawings, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
  • Experience with site supervision and subcontractor management
  • Familiarity with quality control tools and calibration methods.
  • Product conformity checks and reporting the process variations on timely basis.
  • Incoming material inspections at production floor and report making based on the specified product requirements.
  • Keep track of non conforming product and report the details to the production planning engineer / supervisor.
  • Timely tracking of rework/rejections at shop floor level and reporting the same into the non conformity register for future analysis.
  • Responsible for final inspection, material handling, labeling and packing verification before loading.
  • Timely updating of non conformity register.
  • Non conforming product control and status reporting.
  • Updating of rework and rejection status of products.
  • Reporting delivery order preparation requires to the stores.
  • Conducting internal audits.
  • Assisting the Quality Manager in the audits and thus preparing the report on the audit findings.
  • Process evaluation and reporting the status of corrective and preventive actions based on audit reports to the top management.
