Join our 787 Quality Engineering Core Team in North Charleston, South Carolina, as a Quality Engineer (Level 2 or 3). We are seeking highly motivated and technically oriented engineers who have experience working in a heavily regulated industry and possess an unwavering commitment to quality and compliance.
As a Core Quality Engineer, you will ensure the Boeing Company's Quality Management System requirements are met by developing, implementing, and supporting efficient and effective quality methods, tools and processes. Through technical mentorship and cross-training, you will enhance the skillset of our other Quality Engineering teams.
Position Responsibilities:
Analyze engineering documentation to determine process capability and conformance
Perform audits of critical safety statement of work for engineering, build plan, and conformance planning improvements
Review and improve current build plan for simplification and standardization
Perform continuous improvement of Quality Engineering processes
Implement new data collection tools and techniques
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
1+ years experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or another regulated industry
1+ years experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution processes to engineering development and manufacturing/production efforts
1+ years experience managing projects with cross-functional stakeholders and teammates
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
ABET accredited engineering degree
Experience working in a Quality Engineering or other production engineering job role
Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
Experience with analytics tools & software
Proactive and collaborative mindset with an emphasis on positive relationships
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

Pay Range:
Level 2: $83,300 - $112,700
Level 3: $100,300 - $135,700
