We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for testing cloud-based AI inference services, APIs, and data pipelines. Your focus will be on automation and validation of backend systems (excluding BI dashboard validation).

(Work from the office – Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain browser-based UI automation tests using tools such as Selenium or Playwright with JavaScript or Python.
• Validate data flow across services and ensure accuracy of model outputs.
• Execute integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with global development and QA teams.
• Coordinate with engineering teams across China and the U.S. to ensure cross-functional quality standards.
• Own the entire testing lifecycle including test planning, design, and execution.
• Design, implement, and optimize automation frameworks, tools, and test scripts.
• Identify product flaws proactively and ensure issues are resolved before release.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Agile development and tools like JIRA.
• Background in data analytics or database management is a plus.
• Self-motivated, proactive, target-driven, and innovative mindset.
• High attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Collaborative and team-oriented attitude.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in test automation and quality assurance.

• Hands-on experience testing AI/ML components and backend services
