The role is responsible for managing in-process quality across production lines, ensuring effective implementation of quality and food safety management systems, and overseeing pre-requisite programs including the Net Weight Control Program and Water Quality Program. This role also leads the Consumer Focus Standard Work Process (SWP), including complaint handling and root cause investigation.

What you will bring

  • Manage production line in-process quality including implementation of HACCP plans, Quality Plans (CTQ, CTP), product release and on-hold programs, and support NPD/productivity trial runs

  • Lead end-to-end Consumer Complaint Handling program including investigation, CAPA coordination with Consumer Care and stakeholders, trend analysis, monthly reporting, and driving complaint reduction

  • Manage Net Weight Control Program (checkweigher calibration, production team training, yearly reviews) and Water Quality system (microbiological compliance and water chlorination)

  • Conduct risk assessments, HACCP verification, and validation activities on related work processes and areas

  • Conduct internal audits, participate in external audits, and ensure timely gap closure and corrective action verification

  • Deliver training on Quality and Food Safety topics, assess training effectiveness, and build capability of production teams

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols (Work Permit, LOTO, Work at Height, Confined Space), participate in BOS, and support site Safety, Security & Environment programs targeting zero accidents

Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Science/Food Technology or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years’ hands on experience as QA Executive in food manufacturing

  • Knowledge on GMP & HACCP, ISO22000 or FSSC 22000

  • Must be willing to based in Shah Alam Plant
