Infios has an opportunity for a talented and motivated Quality Engineer to join our Integrations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our integration software that connectsK.MotionWarehouse Edge with ERP systems, carrier services, and trading partners. You will design, develop, and maintain test plans, regression suites, and automation frameworks for complex multi-system integration scenarios. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality integration solutions.
Software Development Excellence
Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression test suites for integration workflows
Design and execute API/integration tests validating data flows between WMS, ERP, carrier, and EDI systems
Develop a thorough understanding of the product architecture and integration patterns within 6 months
Deliver in line with project committed metrics on Velocity, Quality, and Accuracy of Estimates
Technical Direction
Achieve comfort with all aspects of integration testing at Infios within 6 to 12 months
Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in testing approaches
Design regression strategies for multi-system integration scenarios
Identify gaps and propose enhancements in the test automation process and/or architecture
Process Improvement
Share ideas for process, workflow, and continuous improvement initiatives
Understand and follow all team processes while actively suggesting improvements
Apply risk-based testing and prioritization to maximize coverage with available resources
Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across the organization
Communicate clearly to understand requirements and align test coverage with organizational goals
Produce high-quality test documentation, defect reports, and concise written communications
Document test plans clearly, report defects with precision, collaborate with developers on root cause analysis
3-5 years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
2+ years of experience in an Agile development environment
Proven ability to independently design test strategies and regression plans for complex systems
Experience mentoring or guiding more junior team members
Demonstrated ability to articulate technical problems, root causes, and corresponding solutions
Strong analytical and investigative skills for root cause analysis
C# and .NET Framework 4.8 — for writing automated tests and understanding the system under test
MSSQL — writing queries to validate data, setting up test data, verifying integration results
REST/OData API testing — request/response validation, status codes, payload verification
Integration/API testing patterns — contract testing, end-to-end flows, error handling, retry scenarios
Test management tools — Azure DevOps Test Plans or similar
Test plan creation — designing comprehensive test cases and regression suites
Azure DevOps and Git — branching, PRs, build pipelines
Risk-based testing and test prioritization
