Main duties
• Obtain product approval from customer through the use of PPAP, FAIR and ISIR
• Produce & supply customer requested documents (material reports /
certificates, dimensional reports, etc.)
• Control the company’s quality plans (PF, CP & FMEA)
• Maintain the company’s equipment calibration system and MSA
• Control the company’s internal non-conformance and production on hold
systems
• Carry out quality audits to the company’s audit schedule
• Carry out layout inspections, SPC and capability study when required
• Take part in necessary APQP activities and new part number creation
• Perform a secondary review and approval of part drawings
• Control the quarantine area and rework when necessary
• Manage the IMDS system for the company
• Manage the company’s material conformity requirements REACH, RoHs, Calif.
65, etc)
Additional duties:
• Train new Quality Engineers
• Take part in improvement activities to represent the quality department
• Cover for Final Inspectors and Goods Inward Inspector when requested
• Limited cover for the Quality Manager when requested, e.g. Complaints,
Customer requests, TMS system, Hutchinson reporting and Final Inspection
Supervisory role
• Carry out any other duties as requested by management.
