Responsible for ensuring that suppliers comply with requirements and that delivered components meet the minimum quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Implement quality management systems for monitoring and interacting with direct material suppliers through DMN, SPRS, and other authorized platforms, in order to maintain an accurate assessment of supplier performance and compliance with requirements.
* Resolve issues reported either by Receiving Inspection or the Production Department by applying the Supplier Quality Manual, ensuring that supplier-related problems are corrected in a timely manner.
* Oversee the disposition of subcomponents and the recovery of costs associated with nonconforming components for which suppliers are responsible, by monitoring DMNs and quarantined material, ensuring that suppliers assume financial responsibility for their nonconformities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Production, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or an equivalent field.
* Intermediate English Level (Required).
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Preferred knowledge and experience in creating PFMEAs, as well as reviewing and approving APQP and PPAP documentation.
