This position is to demonstrate candidates’ abilities to precisely & efficiently inspect products as per customers’ requirements and to handle and investigate non-conforming parts as per quality procedures. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, execute actions to achieve objectives for self.

The Ideal Candidate

- Develop and maintain inspection plans for products, including raw materials, standard parts, semi-finished and finished parts, and NPI;
- Verify manufacturing & process sheets and PFMEA;
- Investigate and conduct root cause analysis on quality issues like DR/QEM/MRB with data and/or logic driven approaches like SPC, Cpk, eIRD, Mini-tab, Gemba, and APPS method;
- Continuously improve daily work, QA procedures, work instructions to meet high expectation as FLIGHT DECK required;
- Initiate and provide data for eCAV, SPS, CID implementation and process changes;
- Raise and react to quality concerns
- Implement QA skills’ examination on inspectors and operators
- Design inspection gauges and inspection fixtures;
- Assist internal / external audits if necessary.
- Communicate with internal and external customers/suppliers for quality issues.

Qualifications Required:

a. Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with major in mechanical engineering or equivalent
b. Working experience

At least 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
About 3 years’ experience in quality related role
c. Specific knowledge

Familiar with CATIA, UG CAD/CAM preferred
At least CET-4 English level
Computer skills like excel, ppt, word
Some common quality analysis tools like APPS, 3x5Why, PFMEA
Basic GD&T

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to read English engineering drawings and specifications
Basic ability for mechanical design (gauging)
Ability to manage priorities and achieve results
Prior exposure to and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is preferred
Basic manufacturing process knowledge
Basic oral and written communication skills in English
Strong self-disciplined
Experience in aviation manufacturing preferred.
Ability to use common inspection tools, like caliper, micrometer, height gauge etc.
