Reporting to QA Supervisor, you as a Quality Engineer will be responsible for driving product and process quality across new product introduction and mass production. This role ensures effective customer issue resolution, internal and supplier quality improvement, and robust quality system execution. You will work closely with cross functional teams to identify quality risks, implement corrective and preventive actions, and continuously improve product reliability, process capability, and customer satisfaction.

About the job:
• Ensure product and process quality throughout new product introduction and mass production.
• Lead customer quality activities including customer complaint handling, customer meetings, sample analysis, and structured root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D.
• Ensure timely customer feedback, on time closure of corrective actions, and verification of corrective action effectiveness.
• Drive internal manufacturing process improvement and raw material quality issue resolution through QRQC and MRB activities.
• Coordinate cross functional teams to implement, track, and validate corrective and preventive actions.
• Support new product development projects by tracking quality issues at each project milestone and leading improvement actions.
• Identify critical characteristics and define appropriate inspection standards and quality documentation, including Control Plans.
• Capture and apply lessons learned to prevent recurrence and improve future project execution.
• Lead quality validation for new process changes and new equipment introduction, including PPAP submission and approval activities.
• Develop and execute MSA plans, analyze measurement system capability, and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Prepare and support internal and external audits, accompany auditors on site, address audit findings, and lead internal process pre audits.
• Perform other quality related tasks as assigned to support business objectives.

About you:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or other STEM related disciplines (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering roles, such as PQE, CQE, and/or AQE.
• Solid working experience in automotive, electronics, or electromechanical industries is strongly preferred.
• Hands on experience supporting process quality improvement, customer quality management, and new project quality activities.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of core quality tools including APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross functional teams.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Results driven, detail oriented, and capable of working under pressure in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in standard office software and quality documentation systems.
