Job Description

The Quality Engineer will join our Identity & Access Management (IAM) Security team within a large banking environment. This role is focused on ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of critical IAM platforms through robust test automation, API validation, and CI/CD integration. You will work closely with developers, security engineers, and product teams to validate complex authentication, authorization, and access control systems that protect enterprise assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks using Java-based testing tools
• Perform REST API testing for IAM services, including authentication, authorization, and provisioning flows
• Utilize tools such as Swagger and Postman to validate APIs and support test development
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous validation and rapid feedback
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality gates
• Validate security controls related to identity lifecycle management, access policies, and entitlements
• Support performance and regression testing for IAM platforms
• Contribute to improving test coverage, automation maturity, and release quality
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Software Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Java-based test automation frameworks (e.g., RestAssured, TestNG, JUnit)
• Proven experience in REST API testing
• Proficiency with API tools such as Swagger and Postman
• Experience building and maintaining automation within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Identity & Access Management (IAM) domains (e.g., SSO, MFA, OAuth, RBAC)
• Familiarity with IAM tools/platforms (e.g., SailPoint, OIG)
• Exposure to Ansible or other infrastructure automation tools
• Understanding of security testing practices in regulated environments
• Experience in banking or financial services
