The Quality Engineer collaborates with operations, support functions and the customer to assure that desired product quality requirements are communicated and delivered. Coordinates and maintains MRB functions including, schedule, action items, follow-up activities and RCCA. Revises Procedures, WI’s, Forms and other quality related documentation to ensure procedures and instructions mirror actual practices. Performs ISO and NADCAP related internal audits. Hosts customer visits as necessary.

Your Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Test Equipment Experience and Skill
Basic understanding of Anoplate test equipment (profilometer, X-Ray, permascope, micrometer, bore gage, color meter, etc.)
Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate by email or phone with internal and external customers.
Quality Technical Skills:
Basic root cause analysis, problem solving skills (5 whys, fishbone, etc.)
Computer Skills:
Keyboard, Anoplate databases, Microsoft Excel, Word. Other Skills: Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide). Rudimentary blueprint reading.
Education/Experience:
A.A.S. Associate in applied sciences degree or experience in performing quality control functions in a manufacturing setting.

Anoplate was founded by Milt Stevenson, Sr., in 1960 to serve a growing need among what was then a very small, locally based machine shop and tool industry. Anoplate operates from a 120,000 square foot facility, single location in Central New York State.
