Job Description

The Quality Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) across project activities. This role ensures that all quality-related issues, including non-conformities and customer/supplier concerns, are properly recorded, analyzed, and driven to closure through effective corrective and preventive actions.

The position also plays a key role in ensuring compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, and international quality standards, while maintaining robust document control practices and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What will you do:

  • Monitor and follow up on quality-related cases, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure project activities comply with company standards, customer requirements, and international quality standards (e.g., ISO).
  • Participate in quality audits and support preparation of inspection/test reports.
  • Track supplier and subcontractor quality performance and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring and critical quality issues using structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone) and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track and analyze quality KPIs (such as defect rates, NCR closure time, and supplier performance) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and customers to manage quality concerns, ensuring timely communication, proper documentation, and resolution of issues

What will you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality preferably in engineering, EPC, or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong understanding and practical application of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., CAPA, 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Solid knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Ability to analyze quality data and KPIs using statistical and analytical tools to drive decision-making.
  • Experience in managing non-conformities (NCRs) and ensuring effective corrective and preventive action implementation.
  • Familiarity with audit processes (internal, external, supplier audits) and audit documentation requirements
