Quality Engineer

Sysco LABS Sri Lanka delivers the technology that powers Sysco’s end-to-end operations.  Sysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer. 

The Opportunity

We are currently on the lookout for a Quality Engineerto join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Contributingtowards the defining of test strategies and test planning

• Performingtest design and the development of test scenarios

• Contributingtowards the development of automation scripts

• Configuringandmaintainingtest environments and continuous integration

• Performingtest execution, analyzingtestresultsand communicatingtest results to stakeholders

Requirements:

• ABachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT oranequivalentqualification

• Strong knowledge inqualityengineering practices and processes

• Sound knowledge of Java, OOPconceptsand coding standards

• A solid understandingofbuilding web and mobile test automation usingSelenium andAppium

• Strong knowledge of Agilesoftwaretesting andsoftwareengineering concepts

• Excellent communication,presentationand negotiation skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Thirst for learning and regularly updating knowledge

• Testing andAgile relatedcertifications would be an added advantage

• Knowledge ofperformance testing and mobile test automation will beanaddedadvantage
