Job Description

Our Substation and Renewables group is currently looking to add a Quality Coordinator to our growing team on a 4-month term (April – July 2026 with an opportunity to extend), based in Southwestern Ontario.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, we are seeking an eager student, new graduate or early career professional who has strong computer skills, a knack for organization, and the ability to support different areas of the business as needed. This is an entry level position that could turn into permanent employment for the right candidate.

Please Note: This position will be based on-site at Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects outside of Jarvis, ON or Elora, ON and requires a Drivers Lisence.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams on active construction sites
  • Support project teams to ensure compliance with contractual, client, and regulatory requirements
  • Support the preparation and distribution of project quality plans and procedures
  • Assist in the coordination and preparation of internal and external quality audits
  • Help identify recurring quality issues and support root cause analysis activities
  • Provide administrative support as needed to the Quality Manager and project teams
  • Assist with procurement quality activities, including review of supplier documentation and material receiving inspection records
  • Enter quality inspection and audit data into internal tracking systems and spreadsheets
  • Track the status of outstanding quality documentation and follow up with relevant parties to meet deadlines
  • Control the issuance, revision, and filing of quality documentation in accordance with project requirements
  • Ensure all inspection records, certifications, and test reports are properly collected, reviewed, and filed

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary student or new grad in a related field (Electrical / Civil Engineering or Technology)
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrated interest in Construction Quality Assurance / Quality Control position
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
  • Comfort working in an active construction site environment and complying with site safety protocols

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

  • Previous Construction Industry experience
  • Engineer-in-training
