Job Description

The Opportunity

Tundra has an opening for Quality Coordinator in Calgary with exceptional software skills, including advanced VBA in Microsoft Access and Excel and strong SharePoint experience. The ideal candidate communicates clearly (written and spoken), is well organized, and can work with minimal supervision.

The Role

  • Create / Maintain Templates for Forms, Guides, Procedures, Work Instructions, etc.
  • Assist other departments with process flow, work instruction, and procedure creation
  • Create / Maintain / Update complex Spreadsheets & Databases for data collection and analysis
  • Prevent, troubleshoot, and fix errors in Spreadsheets and Databases which may include working with 3rd party sources. (new CRM Software – QuickBase)
  • Create / Maintain Automated Approval Flows
  • Create / Maintain SharePoint Libraries and layout of the Tundra Quality Webpage
  • Create Reports and Pull statistical information from Spreadsheets and Databases when required
  • Documentation Control – Update / Verify Metadata for each file as required
  • Initial quality check for new vendor submissions based on set criteria
  • Initial quality check for new documentation based on set criteria
  • Facilitate one-on-one and group training as required
  • Assist in Nonconformance Investigation, Root Cause Analysis, and assignment of Action Items
  • Assist in Internal Quality Audits
  • Assist in the maintenance of shared inboxes

The Candidate

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Interest in process flow, procedure, and continuous improvement
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the Quality department
  • Intermediate to advanced level in SharePoint (Maintain the Tundra Quality webpage and libraries), Excel including Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Access & QuickBase including Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Power Automate, PowerApps (Canvas)

  • Quality system experience is an asset but not required. Training will be provided.
