Compensation: $25 to $28 per hour
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Technician for a 6-month temporary assignment. In this role, you will support Quality Control and validation activities by performing environmental monitoring, in-process testing, raw material release testing, and laboratory documentation. This position plays a direct role in ensuring product quality and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Execute the environmental monitoring program for cleanroom environments.
Perform Quality Control testing, including:
In-Process Testing
Bioburden Testing
Growth Promotion Testing
Raw Material Release Testing
Release raw materials and maintain reference sample inventories.
Support process validation activities and projects.
Record samples, test results, and laboratory data in laboratory software systems.
Maintain compliance with quality systems, SOPs, and cGMP requirements.
Participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives and project teams.
Assist with laboratory documentation and recordkeeping.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
At least 6 months of experience in a Quality Control laboratory, Microbiology laboratory, or related scientific field.
Knowledge of microbiology laboratory techniques and practices.
Experience working within quality systems and cGMP-regulated environments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Technical and scientific report-writing abilities.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
