Key Responsibility

  • Support Quality Manager and Lead in ensuring the calibration of laboratory measurement devices, suitability of test standards, and monitoring of instrument condition.
  • Assist in performing and coordinating the calibration of all Laboratory equipment including those actions performed by Third Parties.
  • Assist the Quality Manager and lead in procurement of lab materials and supplies, management of laboratory and chemical inventories to meet quality system, customer and industry standards.
  • Identify, document, and maintain records on blend nonconformance; and communicate any corrective action needs to the Quality Manager or QC Lead for review.
  • Authorize the release of Packaging Work Orders and supporting product information, used in the manufacture of finished goods.
  • Assist in managing the fluid retain system.
  • Incoming testing and release of raw materials
  • Release testing of blend and flush samples
  • Perform changeovers and approvals for release of production runs.
  • Perform continual quality checks and testing on final product/ finished goods, packaging and components for compliance.
  • Record results in SAP QM Inspection lots.
  • Will complete documents or recordkeeping requirements as determined by management.
  • Will immediately report any defects, deficiencies or problems to the operator and shift supervisor.
  • Will keep work area neat and clean and work in a safe manner observing all company rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with analytical equipment (e.g., viscometers, chromatographs) and laboratory software (LIMS, ELN), and SAP
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting results.
  • Safety Compliance: Strong knowledge of safety regulations, such as OSHA guidelines and chemical handling protocols.
  • Ability to maintain accurate, detailed records and analyze results using computer software.
  • Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours
  • Ability to work in fast paced high-volume production environment
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Must have working knowledge of various weights, measures, and be able to perform computations of manufacturer's specifications.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $22.00/hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
