Where You’ll Make A Difference

• Ensure all operations comply with Quality, Food Safety, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and practices.
• Participate in site safety programs, including behavior-based safety activities, safety audits, and emergency response efforts.
• Participate in site quality and food safety programs, including behavior-based initiatives, audits, and risk-based quality and food safety activities.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external standards and regulations, including OSHA, cGMP & HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and EXCiPACT requirements.
• Serve as a HACCP team member and support laboratory testing and analysis activities.
• Monitor and assess product and material quality test results in accordance with food safety programs.
• Review quality and laboratory test results prior to the release of raw materials and finished products.
• Supervise microbiology laboratory personnel to ensure proper laboratory practices and effective lab management.
• Maintain cost-conscious use of laboratory materials and equipment, ensure correct purchasing procedures, and support the manager during budget planning by providing required information.

What Makes You the Right Fit:

• Associate’s degree with Bachelors of Science Degree preferred in chemical technology, Food science, or related fields of study or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• 7 year’s of experience in supervisor level of an analytical, microbiology lab, quality control in Food Manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
• Experience with basic laboratory equipment and analytical testing procedures.
• Experience with microbiology protocols and biohazards.
• Experience with Quality System management ISO 9001, cGMP & HACCP, FSSC 22000, pharmaceutical quality management and EXCiPACT is preferred.
