CarShop is seeking an experienced Automotive Quality Control Associate to play a critical role in our reconditioning process. What You'll Do

As an Automotive Quality Control Associate, you'll be responsible for ensuring that every vehicle meets CarShop's quality standards before being offered for retail sale.

Responsibilities include:

  • Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet CarShop's quality standards and retail readiness requirements
  • Identify cosmetic, detailing, or quality deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions with the Detail Department
  • Communicate quality concerns and recommendations to service and sales teams
  • Verify vehicles meet standards outlined in the CarShop Quality Control Manual
  • Assist the Photography Team with capturing vehicle images as needed
  • Support the Detail Department during periods of increased business demand
  • Maintain accurate quality standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Help ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience

What We're Looking For

  • Previous automotive detailing, reconditioning, or quality control experience required

Additional Information

The essential functions of this position require working with hazardous or flammable materials and completing tasks where a lapse in attention could result in injury, including operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring heavy equipment, machinery, or motor vehicles.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Standard Business Hours with ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. Three to five years' quality control or auditing experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Technical or training experience desired.
