Job Description

As the Quality Control Planer Mill Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the planer mill operation, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the planer mill, including scheduling, production, and quality control.
• Supervise and lead a team of mill operators and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Optimize production processes to achieve maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supplies.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to achieve product quality goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (2 - 5 years) in a supervisory or management role within a planer mill or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• In-depth knowledge of planer mill operations, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
