Description
Position Title: Quality Control Manager – Prairie Band Construction
Job Classification: Full-Time
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 – 5 pm
Reporting Relationship: Project Manager
Location: El Paso, TX
Primary Accountabilities:
Prairie Band Construction is currently seeking an experienced on-site Construction Quality Control Manager to work on commercial and federal contract construction job sites. The candidate must have extensive experience in above-ground construction and will have responsibility for ensuring our services meet all necessary client requirements. U.S. citizenship is required for this opportunity.
Requirements
Major Duties:
· Continuously review quality control processes, procedures, and capabilities in order to sustain the most cost effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements.
· Make recommendations for improvement as appropriate.
· Review client QC requirements and ensure that quality control documentation for the project meets contractual requirements.
· Review and approve Contractor and subcontractor quality control documentation to ensure their planned activities meet contractual requirements.
· Understand client needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
· Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis.
· Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives.
· Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures requirements.
Required Qualifications:
· Proven experience as Construction Quality Control Manager, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
· Experience in and ability to utilize the 3-phase inspection program.
· Must be conscientious and responsible.
· Must have a keen eye for detail.
· Must have a results-driven approach to work.
· Must have outstanding communication skills and excellent organizational and leadership skills.
· Proficient in MS Office products.
· BS/BA in business administration or relevant field is preferred but not a requirement.
· In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
· Must be able to work multiple shifts and weekend work as needed.
· Must be able to pass a federal background check.
