Job Description
Musashi Auto Parts Canada Inc. is hiring for a Quality Control Manager. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality Control, the Quality Control Manager plans, organizes, and directs Quality Control Associates in all aspects of quality responsibilities.
Qualifications:
• University degree in Engineering and/or Technical/Science and/or 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• IATF knowledge
• Knowledge of quality core tools (AIAG SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP, FMEA – Design and Process, GD&T)
• Know use of CMM program, test and evaluate quality using SPC and other quality methodologies
• Knowledge of measurement methods
• Time management skills
• Good interpersonal communication skills
Job Responsibilities:
Support the needs of the department and customers through monitoring results tracked in the business plan:
• Reporting quality results
• Creating the business plans that links into the company objectives and goals and communicating to all Quality Associates
• Monitor customer and supplier scorecards
• Initiate improvements that support the business plan and effective countermeasures
• Provide coaching/counseling direction
• Investigates quality issues in all production areas of the plant & customer claims
• Coordinates with other departments when manufacturing new parts
• Uphold company polices and continuous improvement for customer satisfaction
• Perform related duties as required

▪ Monitors suppliers & request countermeasure / data to reduce nonconforming product being received
◦ Production
▪ Support Quality Associates to reduce rejects & claims in production
◦ Quality System
▪ Perform internal audits / maintain and improve quality system
• Attend annual health and safety training including (but not limited to) WHMIS, and Lockout Tag-out.
