This role is based in Fort McMurray and supports a major turnaround project with rotational work schedules.

At Ledcor, it’s not just about the project—it’s about building a meaningful career with a team that values integrity, teamwork, and pride in craftsmanship. When you join our True Blue team, you’re part of something bigger.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify construction documentation including drawings, procedures, and specifications
  • Monitor and track non-conformances, ensuring timely resolution and corrective actions
  • Perform audits and field inspections to verify compliance with quality standards
  • Support turnover and completion processes including documentation packages
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality documentation
  • Provide input during planning phases for constructability and quality requirements
  • Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across site teams

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in quality control within industrial construction or turnaround environments
  • Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (CSA, ASME, API, etc.)
  • Experience supervising QC personnel across multiple disciplines
  • Solid understanding of welding, piping, mechanical, or structural scopes
  • Proven experience with inspection processes, documentation, and turnover requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CWB, NACE, or equivalent) are an asset

Work Conditions:

  • Site-based position in Fort McMurray, AB
  • Rotational schedule supporting a major turnaround project
  • Day shift and night shift work required
  • Camp accommodations and travel provided (where applicable)
  • Field-based role with exposure to industrial site conditions
