Otto International is seeking for an experienced & passionate Quality Control Lead to join our Dongguan office. In this exciting role, you will supervise a team of Quality Controllers and ensure that all products meet company and customer standards. You will play a pivotal role in guiding, training and supporting team members, coordinating daily activities, and driving continuous improvement across the quality department.


How will you make a difference?

1.Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and supervise a team of Quality Controllers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Identify underperforming team members and provide targeted guidance and training to help them achieve expected performance levels and goals
  • Work as a trainer to educate inspectors and monitor their ongoing performance

2. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate daily information and requirements with QC staff working at the factory
  • Manage and follow up on QC workload and schedules to ensure efficient operations

3. Proactive Support & Problem Solving

  • Encourage QC team members to be proactive in identifying, creating, and sharing new ideas and solutions
  • Support the team in problem-solving and foster a culture of continuous improvement

4. Factory & Supplier Engagement

  • Regularly visit factories and suppliers to assess processes and quality standards
  • Conduct taskforces to discuss solutions for risk reduction and follow up on Corrective Action Plans (CAP)

5. Implementation & Support

  • Assist the QC Manager in implementing new procedures or projects within the QC department
  • Educate factories by providing guidelines and support regarding quality standards

6. Quality Analysis & Corrective Action

  • Analyze quality problems, customer complaints, and claims in the fieldt
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address identified issues

7. Other Duties

  • Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management to support departmental and organizational objectives

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related subject (preferred)
  • Proven experience in quality control or assurance, at least 3-year experience in a supervisory or lead role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and training skills
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and implement corrective actions effectively
  • Experience in factory and supplier engagement is an advantage
  • Knowledge of industry quality standards and best practices
  • Flexible on the working location or based city (within Guangdong Province) depending on the business needs
  • Flexible on the working schedule to accommodate production and quality control timelines
  • Able to travel frequently and travel outside of Guangdong province
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook
